Why Rent in Louisiana?
Louisiana is one of the great southern states located in the “Bible Belt”. Known mostly for the Mardi Gras of New Orleans, Louisiana has quite a blues and jazz culture. Louisiana is bordered by Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
The bayous of Louisiana create quite an elaborate, yet humid scenery for settlers. Many swamps and marshlands remain and even the winters are warm in this Southern state. It is not rare for a hurricane to attack Louisiana, since there are sea level lands right on the Gulf of Mexico. Summer months find many rain-storms and it isn’t rare that a tornado or two hits this area.
Despite the rough weather in some areas of the state, Louisiana residents remain faithful home owners in several of the urban cities including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette and Alexandria. Louisiana doesn’t technically have counties, but “parishes”. They use this term due to the Spanish and French heritage that built the state. Cajuns and Creole people reside in this area; these terms were given by the French ancestry. Louisiana has a lot of historical properties for those looking to buy or rent homes. Newer home rentals are also available for those looking to spice up their lives by living the Louisiana way!
