Why Rent in Iowa?
Iowa is known as the “American Heartland” and the “corn belt”, since it's the state which produces the most food in America. Iowa is also known for low crime, so it’s a favorite among US settlers. Iowa is full of rolling hills, natural lakes, and fresh rivers, including the Des Moines, Mississippi, and Missouri Rivers.
The weather in Iowa varies; it is among the cooler temperatures averaging about 50 degrees. There is snow in the winter, and the warmer months of summer sometimes come with tornadoes. Despite the sometimes rigid weather conditions, civilians have their favorite cities in which to buy real estate or home rentals.
Des Moines, the capital city, has a large urban living area where homes for rent are plentiful. Ames, Knoxville, Marshalltown, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Sioux City, Cedar Falls, and Waterloo are also great cities for purchasing real estate or renting a home.
