Why Rent in Alabama?
Alabama, known as “The Heart of Dixie”, is home sweet home to many Americans. The state was actually named after an Indian tribe and the language accent we hear today from many Alabama folk was derived from the original settling tribe. Today, Alabama is known for the mass military bases and the strong industrial presence of mining, auto manufacturing, steel mills, plastic and fabric production, electronics, and aerospace.
Alabama is mountainous in the North, and the South is filled with rivers, streams and wetlands. The Alabama coast is along the Gulf of Mexico. The weather can get quite wet at times, especially during hurricane season. However, Alabama is generally cool in the North and warmer in the South. Summers are hot, and Winters are mild.
Despite the occasional weather mishap, Alabama continues to be a great place to rent or to buy property. Many residents prefer Birmingham and Montgomery, which is the capital. Mobile and Huntsville are also popular places to find great rentals and real estate deals. Being in the middle of the “bible belt”, many Christians reside here and there are stricter laws on alcohol - some areas don’t sell it at all. Alabama is a great place to raise a family; many folks will agree that Alabama is a great place to live!
